I recreated aparon, a childhood favorite, and the recipe is posted at Manila Speak. I’ve been trying to make the recipe for years, but found that starting from scratch was a bit too much. Starting with hosts makes it an easy recipe to do.
I gave baking lessons to Joy and Steve’s children, Bambi and Summer today. They enjoyed the batter so much, they kept swiping to have a taste. I hope they come by again, it was fun teaching them.
