Fisher Mall
Reggie and I went to Quezon City last Saturday to pick up some paper at Prestige Paper Products in General Lim Street. We ended up going to Fisher Mall afterwards, as it was nearby. Only the supermarket and a few of the fast food restaurants …

Customer Service, Opposite Ends of the Spectrum, from One Company
When I got my iPhone 5S, I didn’t realize that Globe didn’t send me an LTE-enabled SIM. I tried to get it replaced the other day, but there weren’t any SIMs available at the business center in Podium, and when I went to the one in Robinson’s Ermita, the system for SIM replacement was down. So I went to Robinson’s Ermita again today to see if I could get a new one. The guard warned me prior to giving me a queue number that the wait was long because there were 11 people ahead of me. I figured it would take an hour, maybe 2 hours tops to get to the front of the line. I was so wrong.

New Pictures for the New Year
I promised myself I would take at least one picture everyday for this year. Let’s see how this goes! I’m also in the process of configuring my blog to allow me to upload one everyday with minimal effort so it’s easier to do. I’ll be able to see in the next few days if  what I remember I can do will work.
Breakfast today was: coffee, a thinly sliced bagel I toasted and some chorizo.

Revisiting a Childhood Memory
In the early 80’s, I lived in Bacolor, Pampanga. Both my grandparents had ancestral homes beside the church, though I lived on a farm much further away. During the Mt. Pinatubo eruption in 1991, both ancestral homes were buried in lahar. One was later dismantled …
