A New Pen Acquisition: Kaweco AL Sport
We went to the Fountain Pen Network – Philippines Mini Meet at Katchitora, SM Megamall Atrium, where Candice showed me her raw aluminum fine nib Kaweco AL Sport. I got hooked. I wanted one of my own. After lunch, we headed to Scribe Writing Essentials, Level 4, Fashion Wing. I thought it would only come in raw aluminum, and I was so wrong. It comes in matte blue!

I made this recipe because some of the commercial versions I found looked like there was too much oil used in the formula. That’s why the formula in the article uses so little oil. Peanuts by themselves are already naturally oily, and release their oil during grinding.
New Perspectives via a New Lens
First full day with my Petzval lens. I took some pictures around the house to test how it goes. The lens focal length is 85mm. Â You do need to be at least 2 feet away to get the lens to focus. And 3-4 feet away …
